Options
- Allow Activity LED to pulse. This check box determines whether the acknowledge LED should pulse during normal operation. Maybe it bothers you? if it does then turn it off!
- Allow LED walk. During power up and reset the activity LED's perform a sequential "walk". If you check this box to "allow" then this sequence walk will be repeated approximately once every 25 seconds. (default is unchecked)
- Encode inputs 1,2, Enable IR translation & Encode on board IR Receiver. If checked these enable the IR Commander Matrix to "process" the IR received from these inputs and perform routing based upon code translation. For more details see the Advanced section "IR Routing via Learning remote". Leave unchecked if you are not using this option.
- Use on board receiver for local IR. If checked then any received IR signals will be routed to the selected IR outputs.
- Disable on board receiver for local IR. If checked then the on board IR receiver is disabled. This is the recommended option if the IR Commander Matrix is to be placed inside a cabinet that contains IR emitters.
- Attempt to locate PC – This is important if you want to learn IR code with the PC program. If you don’t intend to use the PC during normal operation this is best left unchecked.
- Auto configure with DHCP. When plugged into a router with DHCP support (almost all routers support this) the modules will communicate and assume a router assigned IP address.
- Enable DDNS – Tells the module whether to use the information stored in the “set up DDNS” tab (see Dynamic DNS tab opposite).
- Allow long duration IR codes. Certain products (for example X10 & Lutron) require a longer than normal duration of transmitter IR to function correctly. Response times are slower with this enabled so leave unchecked if not required.
- Tidy IR code before sending to PC. If you have difficulty capturing an IR code then try checking this box. Again, response times are compromised so only enable if required.
