Options
- Choose function This unit is a target / receiver / standalone. As it says, change the mode of the module to suit your needs. See "Overview" for a full explanation of each mode.
- Search for target. If checked then the module will attempt to locate a target module to send IR commands to. This is only functional when the module is set as a receiver.
- Preferences Allow Activity LED to pulse. This check box determines whether the acknowledge LED should pulse during normal operation. Maybe it bothers you? if it does then turn it off!
Enable DDNS – Tells the module whether to use the information stored in the “Dynamic DNS” tab (see menu)
- Select IR receiver to use The default is the built in IR receiver. If you wish you can plug in a remotely mounted external IR receiver (see optional accessories for more details).
- Advanced options Allow long duration IR codes. Certain products (for example X10 & Lutron) require a longer than normal duration of transmitter IR to function correctly. Response times are slower with this enabled so leave unchecked if not required.
Tidy IR code before sending to PC. If you have difficulty capturing an IR code then try checking this box. Again, response times are compromised so only enable if required.
- Save changes Remember to click the "SAVE" button to enable any changes you make!
