Connections & Indicators
Reset Button
Pressing the reset switch until the acknowledge light comes on will reboot the IPMSW1 with the current settings. This will not erase any changes you have made and your IP address and timer settings will be preserved. For a full factory reset please see the browser control menu option.
External Control
Reserved for future use.
Output 1
A red LED indicates that this outlet is ON.
No LED indicates that this outlet is OFF.
The pushbutton will change the status (unless disabled in software).
Output 2
A red LED indicates that this outlet is ON.
No LED indicates that this outlet is OFF.
The pushbutton will change the status (unless disabled in software).
Activity LED
Will flash:
Twice per second = attempting to communicate with the network.
Once every five seconds = successful communication with the network.
(see “advanced settings” for compatible computer information)
Acknowledge LED
Will flash to confirm that data has been successfully transmitted to the target - in other words your message got there! (see "port forwarding" for more details)
Power LED
Should always be illuminated whenever power is connected. Don't expect much to happen if it's not.
LAN
Should be connected to a hub switch or router, and not directly cabled to your computer network port. If you can't run a network cable to the desired location you can optionally connect to your network using either a pair of plug-in Powerline adapters or a wireless Ethernet Bridge.
AC Input
Connect to 230v AC supply. Should the fuses need replacing please replace with the same rating & style only: 5A.
AC Output 1
230v AC switchable outlet.
AC Output 2
230v AC switchable outlet.
Note that the input is fused at 5A and care should be taken to ensure that the maximum combined output load does not exceed 5A.
